Competitive mobile gaming, in numbers we'll be reporting on weekly.
How we operate.
Every game we review gets a minimum of eight hours of competitive play by our editors before publication. Tournament coverage requires editor presence at the event or live-stream review.
We don't accept payment, sponsorship, or affiliate commissions from game publishers, hardware manufacturers, or tournament organizers. No paid placements.
Tournament recaps published within 48 hours of event close. Reviews and analysis published every Tuesday. Hardware coverage on the first Friday of each month.
Press inquiries, tournament submissions, editorial pitches.
Absolute Porting Games is an independent editorial publication launching summer 2026. We cover one thing โ competitive mobile gaming. Tournaments, ranked play, the games that support real skill expression at scale, the hardware and strategy that separates top players from casual players.
Why mobile only: mobile gaming surpassed console and PC combined in 2020 and the gap has only grown. Competitive mobile is the fastest-growing segment within that โ driven by Southeast Asian markets, Latin American mobile-first players, and an emerging European tournament circuit. Most gaming press still treats mobile as a footnote. We treat it as the main event.
Our editorial process: every review reflects a minimum of eight hours of competitive play. Tournament coverage requires an editor watching the event live or reviewing the official broadcast in full. Hardware reviews use tournament-grade testing protocols including thermal performance, input latency, and sustained-session reliability.
What we don't do: we accept no payment from game publishers, hardware manufacturers, or tournament organizers. No sponsored content, no paid rankings, no affiliate commissions. Editorial decisions are independent.
Our team: three editors based in Helsinki and Stockholm. Combined eleven years in competitive gaming journalism and tournament operations.
